this child would not let go of this toy for many hours and there was much joy on her little face

The Tinkerbell wings, like all of the fairies of this kind I bought, are totally flimsy and break easily. One of the fairies broke trying to get it out of the box. The Dove is nice, but Tinkerbell doesn't fit on the saddle. My daughter gets frustrated with them. She does play with the Dove seprately and rarely at all actually. She is 4.5.

Super fun for Tinkerbell lovers!! There are 2 tiny teacups shaped like flowers with a teapot to match - just the perfect size for the Tinkerbell doll (and for my girl's little brother to poke up his nose - ewwwww, watch those!) The only minus is the "vine" used as a "seatbelt" to hold Tink on Brother Dove's back is too short, and fits around her knees when she's sitting in the flower "saddle". But my 5 year old doesn't care,

Fun toy for little ones who love the characters from Pixie HollowNov 30, 2008
My 3.5 year-old daughter is a huge Tinker Bell fan and we recently purchased the Tinker Bell movie DVD. After watching the DVD multiple times and being so interested in the characters, I thought I'd get some of the characters for her. Well, I got two sets through Amazon - one is this set, Tinker Bell and Brother Dove and the other is Beck and Scamper the Chipmunk. My little one loves them - she loves play-acting and creating her own little fairy world with her fairy houses and Disney fairy characters [we got a set of Tinker Bell and friends figurines from the Disney store] and these two playsets complement them very well.

I'd recommend these only if your little one loves play-acting and is a fan of Tinker Bell and the characters from Pixie Hollow. I do have to say that the facial features of the two fairies in the sets, Tinker Bell here and Beck in the other are not very realistic or true to the movie, but the animals in both sets are very cute and large enough to make playing with them a pleasure, plus they are made of hard plastic so they're quite durable. All in all, I'd recommend this to kids ages 3 and up. A great Pixie Hollow book to read with your little one is:In the Realm of the Never Fairies: Secret World of Pixie Hollow, The (Disney Fairies) by Monique Peterson.

Tinkerbell Goes for a FlightAug 16, 2008
This is one of two "ride on" fairy toys from Disney's Fairies smaller line of figures. This one has a small Tinker Bell with gorgeous filigree wings and a rather large dove for her to "ride" (or fly). This is the perfect compliment to the Beck set which has Scamper the Chipmunk. The fairies can ride the animals and everything is extremely detailed. These are truly beautiful toys that fairy and nature loving little girls are going to adore.
