Well, my two year old loved it. I don't know how sturdy it would be for a kid who really wanted to use it for a book bag, but my little girl has a great time loading hers with blankets, dolls and stuffed animals.

This bag can be used only those are in nursery.It is very small,cannot fit any books.It looks cute and is sturdy.I ordered it for my Kindergarten daughter and is a waste for me now.

I ordered this backpack for my 3 year old. The description says 12", but I guess I should have held a ruler up to her back because even this "toddler" backpack is almost too big for her. Almost, but...it does work and I guess she'll grow into it!

Cute bag. Made well. Pockets on the side are not good for much though as they are very narrow.

Granddaughter loved it the minute she opened it. She is 23 months and takes it to daycare everyday. Perfect for sippy cup and other necessities.

I bought this book bag for my daughter in preparation for an airplane trip thinking she could pack some toys in it and bring it on the flight. It worked great for the trip but my daughter also loves playing with it at home. She packs up her doll and her doll's bottle along some other toys and wants to take them everywhere.
