Perfect for my Elmo obsessed 2 year old son!Oct 17, 2009
I bought this for my son for his 2 year birthday. Like many other kids his age he is absolutely obsessed with everything elmo. When he saw this elmo he freaked out and tackled it. This is by far his favorite stuffed animal and it brings him so much joy to drag around and wrestle with elmo. It was perfect!

It's a very nice Elmo toy, it was my friend's son birthday gift. It seems that they already fix the product based on people's comments and experience. The eyes are soft, no longer that hard ones as I understood from most of the comments here. The only thing that is kind of hard in this toy is the mouth, the rest it's so soft.

Just received Elmo in the mail yesterday. The product dimensions say this doll is only 19.3 inches, but maybe that is sitting (which the doll doesn't do well, very soft & kind of floppy). The length of this Elmo is over 2 feet.(The picture with the little girl holding him is quite accurate.) I was a little concerned about the plastic eyes, but when Elmo arrived, his eyes were made of fabric, so no problem there. The color is nice & bright and he is very soft. It seems like the kind of fabric that may get kind of "pilly" or shaggy after awhile, but I bought him for my 2 year old, so as long as he lasts, we're good. The tag says surface clean only, but I am confident that if needed, I can tie this toy in a pillowcase and throw it in the washing machine. This Elmo is well worth the price, I don't think you'll find a bigger one this cheap.

Elmo is alive and well in the arms of my 18 month old grandson. Although this plush is large, my grandson takes him in the car, for naps, and pushes him around the house in a makeshift sleigh. Needless to say, Elmo was the Big Hit of my granson's Christmas.

I guess they used to make this large Elmo with hard, plastic eyes.

But the eyes are now soft and made out of fabric! In fact, the whole Elmo doll is soft and cuddly.

It doesn't have "twisty fur", like other Elmo dolls... the "skin" is quite smooth and soft.

This doll is perfect if your kids would like to hug Elmo, and it is about the size of a 20-month year old child.
