BIG hit in our houseAug 28, 2010
If you have a Thomas addict this is a GREAT idea! My son loves to "wake Thomas up" by turning on the light, he carries it everywhere! We've had it camping, hiking, to bed, general play outside, kitchen table tenting. . .just about attached to his hand. . .we've even had to shut the bathroom lights off and have Thomas "light the way" for his bath (we put it a safe distance from the water or he'd have tried to give Thomas a bath too LOL) with the sounds from "Flashy Thomas" my son plays with his wooden tracks using the flashlight sound effects.

We have not one, but two of these, and they have survived the normal toddler/preschooler abuse for over two years with no problems. Whenever the light stops working, we change the batteries and presto! it works again. My son loves this toy, it's one of his favorites both as a train and a flashlight. If you have a train junkie like mine, you would enjoy my blog, and might get some ideas, (...)

I purchased the Thomas Flashlight for my grandson and two nephews (ages 3 & 4). They are all big Thomas fans and loved the flashlight. It was nice to have a toy that worked right out of the package. They were able to play with it immediately. It is still going strong after two months!

Our grandson, who loves Thomas the Train, really liked this. I liked that just by picking it up you turn on the light, the light also turns off after so many minutes of non use to save the batteries.
