We love Thomas and this flashlight is a very well made toy. It has been a hit since we purchased it for DS's b'day.

I expected a flashlight to eat batteries but this one REALLY goes through them. So we resorted to rechargables.

DS sleeps with this flashlight nightly.

My 17 month old loves watching Thomas on TV. Most of the toys are for age 3+, so this Light & Go Flashlight is perfect for him. He has played with it every day since he got it from Santa this Christmas.

This was purchased as a gift for a 2 year old and he loved it! It has a handle that makes it easy for little ones to hold. It also has great train sound effects. Very cute!

We wanted to get this toy for our older boy but never got around to it. So with our next boy we decided to go for it. We were so excited!
We had trouble finding one that worked properly in the stores (there weren't many to choose from-- they must be popular!). When we got it home we realized we somehow picked one that didn't work. I can't remember now if the light didn't work, or wouldn't turn off, or if it wasn't making the sounds. Looking online we realized that it was a very common problem. We took it back and traded for another because we really thought it would be a fun toy. On Christmas morning, the new one didn't work. VERY frustrating, because it's such a cool toy! Both our boys were excited about it even though it didn't quite work.
We gave up and just kept it anyway.
So fast forward about a year... it's been in storage for a while (I was rotating through our toys). I brought it out and it doesn't work at all-- no lights or sounds. So I put new batteries in it. Now it's working just as good as new. I'm wondering how long that will last? Oh well, my boys are still enjoying it. I just can't figure out why it's so fickle? I really think it's just poorly made.
So be prepared if you end up buying this toy-- it's not likely to work for you!

My little boy is a HUGE Thomas fan so, of course, he loved this flashlight and the train sounds it makes!
