My 7yr old son bought this for his school lunch. First its smaller than it looks. I guess I should have really analized the measurments. Second, its not even insultated! Third the waterbottle is tiny and it is so hard to take out and put back in the little net on the side of the bag. If I had a hard time with the waterbottle can you imaging little hands? The only reason it got three stars because it is cute and is boy enough. But it just was a little too small and kind of looked like a purse than a lunch box.

I purchased this in addition to a backpack because my son also needed a lunch bag. Unfortunatlly it is not insulated, and the sides are not supported so no cold lunches and nothing that might be crushed. My son carries his cars in it now.
