This backpack is a little bit large for my 4 year old, but he loves it. The design on the front is bright and textured and appears to be very durable. The front pocket is just big enough to hold an 8.5" x 11" pocket folder and the main compartment is very roomy. The straps are easily adjusted by an adult. The zippers work smoothly and are easy for little fingers to manipulate. He was initially most excited about the water bottle, but seems to have lost interest in it. Now he just loves the backpack. An excellent purchase for any fan of Thomas the Tank Engine.

I actually use this backpack as a diaper bag for my 2 year old son. It has plenty of room for everything (and then some) and has held up perfectly. Great product!
